 Great potty, even for beginners, This review is from: Prince Lionheart weePOD, Berry Blue (Baby Product) We're not one's for a bunch of clutter lying around and the idea of emptying a chair all the time was not appealing to us, so we went with this seat and a simple, no skid stool for our 2 year old. He'd been interested for a while and likes to do as the adults do and we are so glad we chose this seat. It is comfortable and the splash guard keeps the pee in. We really like that we can hang it up when we have guests and now that he's 2 and a half, he can put it on the toilet himself when he is ready to go and gets on and off it like a champ. We started with a plastic seat (Arm & Hammer) from the store. It had handles on the side our son liked. But it moved back and forth on the toilet seat, creating rub marks behind his knees. With the weePOD seat, it fits securely on the toilet seat with no wiggling. The dial design is very simple, but very effective. We have a space saver elongated bowl and it fits perfectly.I also like the built in urine guard. We have the Prince Lionhart floor potty and I really like the silicone guard so my son doesn't have to worry about painful scraping. The urine guard on this seat is built in, but it's unobtrusive and not hard plastic. It's easy to clean, my son begged to sit on it from the moment it came out of the box, and we've been having more success with pottying than ever. Honestly, nothing else compares. It's squishy. He likes to sit on it and look at books. And because he likes to sit on it, he'll sit on it long enough to relax and...go...you know. I highly recommend it. |
