2T/3T is Size 4, 3T/4T is Size 5, and 4T/5T is Size 6..., March 1, 2011

My daughter has been wearing Easy Ups for what seems like forever - she finds them so much more comfy than Huggies Pull-Ups - but when I saw that Pampers had changed their size names I didn't know what size to get her any more!

I called Pampers Customer Service to get the low-down and they told me that that the new 2T/3T is actually the same as old Size 4, 3T/4T is Size 5, and 4T/5T is Size 6. My daughter has been wearing Size 5, so I ordered the new 3T/4T, and sure enough, they're exactly right. That makes both of us happy.

Good Diapers, May 15, 2007

I use these for my two year old. They are the only pullups I have found that are actually small enough for my 20lb daughter. Other brands are so large or stiff that that they leak.

These are great!, June 26, 2007

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)

While I would not rely on these for potty training, they are good for not leaking. In comparison, their competitors do leak on my child.

As far as potty training, they don't help, because they soak in the pee so well that my child doesn't mind sitting in a wet diaper. We are using Gerber training pants at home & use these when we go out. I know I can rely on these to keep leaks from occurring while we're out.

    Worth A Look, September 18, 2003

This review is from: My Big Girl Potty (Hardcover)
Both Mommy and Daddy actively participating in Ashley's potty training process. Ashley realistic transitions from diapers to "special big-girl underpants" over time, not instantly. Author Joanna Cole uses questions to draw the child into the story ("Do you wear diapers, too?") as an encouraging parent would. The story concludes with ten common sense tips, such as "Don't rush!" and "Never scold or punish." and "Use a diaper at nap time..."

We have read almost every potty book available on the market as of 9/2003 (over two dozen!). Most fit into two categories: INSTRUCTIONAL books that introduce the skills needed to master the potty; and those that are primarily ENTERTAINING, for children who understand what is supposed to happen on the potty, but need extra time to make it happen.

I think My Big Girl Potty fits more in the INSTRUCTIONAL category for the following reasons:

    1) It identifies the purpose of the potty.
    2) It specifies bodily functions such as "poop" and...Read more

A Nice Addition To Your Potty Book Collection, March 27, 2005

This review is from: My Big Girl Potty (Hardcover)
This is one of many books I bought about potty training. I have to say I like this book. Ashley is just adorable. Both parents are involved in the training process (I'm the one who did the training in our family but I like the fact that it says to kids that dads can do it too). I also like that it wasn't instant success for Ashley. She tries twice to sit on the potty with no sucess and does have an accident. When she finally gets the hang of pottying, as a reward, she goes out with her parents and gets to pick out her own big girl underwear. I think this helped my daughter because I told her if potty training went well, I would buy her special underwear too, and not just any underwear--DORA underwear. I think that was a huge incentive for her and this book planted the seed.

This is not my daughter's favorite book, but she likes listening to it and I like reading it. I recommend it to any young trainee and their parents.

SHE DID IT!, October 10, 2000

    By
    S. L. Monk (Mission Viejo, CA United States) - See all my reviews

This review is from: My Big Girl Potty (Hardcover)
I wanted to update my review from September 14,2000 to let everyone know that I read this book to my daughter - at her request! - every afternoon at naptime and every night at bedtime. Last week, October 4, 2000 she was officially "trained" - consistently using the potty. She's had two accidents, but loves her "big girl" underpants. She still asks me to read "My Big Girl Potty" every night, but now she interjects - "I do that" or "I'm a big girl" - throughout. As I said before this is a gentle introduction to potty training that really worked for us. Thank you.

Cute, Nicely Done, Book, March 20, 2003

I got this to go along with 2 other potty books. I like to get a little of everything, I guess. I really like that this has photographs of real girls and real potties. Which I still think is helpful to see other little girls like themselves demonstrating.

You can't tell from the picture here but it has a cute shape - cut out around the girl on the front. There isn't a whole lot of actual content as far as words -more of a commentary. It's good but as far as myself and my daughter we prefer more of a story. (eg: "The Potty Book for Girls") This is probably her least favorite of her "potty" books but she still likes to look at it esp. while sitting on the potty.

I personally would not recommend this to be the ONLY potty book you get, it is better as a supplemental. If you only get one I suggest one with more substance and story that covers more ground (like the aforementioned book)...

This book is a bad influence, July 6, 2004

      By A Customer

My daughter loves this book, but I hate it. It shows pictures of a little girl standing in a potty, and with a potty on her head. The accompanying text says that this is not what you do, but the pictures are compelling. AFter reading this book, my daughter started standing in the potty, saying "no, no, no!" I think the book would be a lot better if it only showed positive pictures.

Not very good, August 14, 2005

      By
Pizor (London, England) - See all my reviews

This book has a great shape which my 18 month old loves to hold, and great photos, but as far as a potty training book goes, you can do much better. Once Upon a Potty is probably the best one out there, though it's kind of a long story and my daughter won't sit through it. Still, it has a good amount of detail to it. My daughter's favorite potty training book is by far A Potty for Me! by Karen Katz. Just the right amount of detail with nice pictures and a great story.

So what's wrong with My Potty Book? It's too simple. It shows a bunch of kids playing with a potty, then they sit on it then it tells them to wee, use toilet paper, wash their hands and they're done. It's almost too simple even for a child. Every other potty book I've looked at deals a little with the anxiety that a child might feel. The two other books I mentioned explain how babies use nappies, and then when they're ready, they move onto a potty. They try it, but it might not feel right. They try...Read more
